Modundayız Sunar: Bubble Tea And Cigarettes
New York-based dream pop / slowcore duo Bubble Tea and Cigarettes will take the Blind stage on 27 Ekim for their first concert in Turkey.
Born from the combination of Kat’s fragile vocals and Andi’s cinematic productions, the group has become one of the most notable independent acts of recent years with music that melts melancholy, nostalgia, and inner intensity into one. Their songs, wandering through dreamlike atmospheres, draw listeners into a world that is both personal and hypnotic.
Since their debut in 2019, the duo has built a loyal and rapidly growing global audience. While their first album, There’s Nothing But Pleasure, created an emotional refuge, their second album, We Should’ve Killed Each Other, approached themes of loneliness, love, and modern alienation from a darker place. Having attracted particular attention with their concerts and festival performances in Asia, Bubble Tea and Cigarettes are now preparing to meet Istanbul audiences for the first time.
