The uncompromising sludge metal band Mantar from northern Germany is bringing its wild energy, which has shaken the European metal scene, to the Blind stage on October 13, 2026! Founded in 2012 by Erinç Sakarya and Hanno Klänhardt, Mantar stands out as one of the heaviest and most original bands in the sludge metal scene. After reaching No. 2 on the German charts with their 2022 album “Pain Is Forever and This Is The End,” the duo is once again returning to a dirtier, faster sound rooted in its origins with the new album “Post Apocalyptic Depression.” Drawing influences from Melvins, Mudhoney, and Nirvana’s “Bleach” era, Mantar is known for creating a massive wall of sound onstage with only two people. With their chaotic energy and uncompromising attitude, the band will be at Blind on October 13 for their second Istanbul concert.
