Lucy | Sinema

Sometimes, pushing the boundaries of what's possible can completely change a person's life... "Lucy" tells the extraordinary story of a young woman living in Taipei who unwittingly becomes involved in an international drug operation. After a substance is implanted in her body, Lucy's physical and mental abilities rapidly change, and she begins to push the limits of human potential. As she tries to understand the meaning of this transformation with the help of Professor Norman, she also confronts the criminal organization that drew her into this experiment. Combining science fiction, action, and suspense, "Lucy" presents a story that prompts reflection on concepts such as human potential, knowledge, time, consciousness, and evolution. The film explores the limits of the human brain and the potential we possess, raising the question of how much a person can lose their humanity as their knowledge and power increase.
