Kuyu ve Sarkaç

The game takes place in a prison designed for torturing and executing death row inmates.
Kurban is trying to escape the various torture methods by clinging to the hope of survival.
Hope, while keeping the victim alive, also intensifies the suffering of the torture.
"The hope was in her face; she was the reason for all of this."
My nerves were completely frayed because of him...
Because of him, I was constantly feeling anxious and withdrawn.
Hope was reflected in her face.
Hope rising from the ashes.
"A glimmer of hope, a promise of life, whispered to the ear of a condemned prisoner."

Years after the time period in which the game is set, it's ironic that the marketplace built on the site where the dungeon once stood still features the following hopeful verse:

"Here they are! That incorrigible, devilish/godless crowd."
He was fueled for a long time by his hatred of innocent blood.
Now, the homeland is saved, and the abyss of relentless death has been destroyed.
"Now, life and healthcare are accessible to everyone!"

To those who hold onto hope, no matter what...
