"A Bad Day" is a darkly comedic film that keeps the audience constantly surprised. It's a thrilling police procedural with a relentless pace that never lets up.

After divorcing his wife, psychologist Erdem moves into a three-story apartment in a secluded street inherited from his grandfather, a place he hadn't visited in years and which was only used for rental income. The morning after he moves in, he wakes up to a visit from the building superintendent.
In the apartment building, only Erdem and the doorman, Yakup, are present.
Yakup, with his persistent and peculiar behavior, disturbs Erdem, who wants to be left alone, and Erdem eventually asks him to leave the apartment, albeit in a somewhat rude manner.

Just five minutes had passed when the doorbell rang, and Yakup reappeared. But this time, he was wearing different clothes and behaving like a completely different person.

Initially, Erdem found the situation to be a frustrating joke and resisted it. However, after a while, he began to consider the possibility that Yakup might have a second personality, as a psychologist might. But as time went on, things took a turn for the worse. The apartment door was locked, and the key was missing.

Now, while Erdem tries to remain calm and reconcile with Yakup's alter ego, Yakup will force him to confront the dark history of the apartment building.

This fast-paced, absurd comedy, featuring fantastic performances by Gürgen Öz and Aşkın Şenol, takes the audience on a fun and thought-provoking journey that challenges our social norms.
