"The Empty Space" - A Play About Brokenness.
Don't do that, please. Empathy is forbidden, you know... I wish... What does "parliament" mean?... Snotty... A life with mothers... It made me feel strange when you said that... I don't like snowflakes at all... Neurons... Sweet dreams... The information I already have is enough for me... The single line of love and acceptance... Shadows wandering in the darkness... Again...
I never forget to take my Nexium.
I don't forget anything, Ritalin.
The Land of Abebiki is a dystopia designed to prevent people from forming emotional connections with each other. In this country, words are forbidden, because words affect reason, emotion, and the soul. In Abebiki, no child has ever had a mother.
"Where We Break" tells the story of two sisters whose lives are marked by a sense of emptiness, as they navigate years of searching for freedom, making difficult choices, and bearing the inevitable consequences of those choices.
On this journey, right and wrong become intertwined; the line between salvation and destruction becomes increasingly blurred.
This game delves into the most vulnerable moments of a person, exploring the points where they are most susceptible to hurt.
Because there's a void in all of us, at the point where we've been broken.
