Give those leftover fabric scraps a new lease on life with a creative touch!

Discover the unique "kinusaiga" technique in our workshop near the Galata Tower, which allows you to create artwork using fabrics without sewing. You will begin by choosing your design and colors, and then you will create a personalized fabric mosaic by combining different textures.

Under the guidance of an instructor, you will arrange fabric pieces onto the foam base, aligning them with the pattern's sections. You'll create your artwork step-by-step by pressing the edges into the designated grooves. Using adhesive where necessary, you will complete your design and take your framed artwork home with you the same day.

This workshop offers a creative approach to sustainability by repurposing textile materials. No prior sewing or art experience is required.

What will you be doing at the workshop?

You will plan your design by selecting a pattern.
You will choose the colors and textures from the selection of fabric scraps.
You will apply the seamless knusaiga technique with the support of an instructor.
You will create your design by placing the fabrics on the foam base.
You will receive your framed artwork, carefully packaged, to take with you.
