Kayık Dünya Oyunu
1001 Sanat invites you to experience a two-act tragicomedy set in Istanbul, written by Eyüp Bolat and directed by Barış Can Çelik.
If only the streets were as innocent, clean, and joyful as they were in our childhood... But as the world turns, and life becomes increasingly harsh, the streets become increasingly dark. What begins as a playful existence for two children often transforms into a struggle for survival.
- Oh, Istanbul, where everything used to be so abundant. Is it really this difficult to find a loaf of bread now? Look at the buildings, look at the soil, if you can, of course. There's no place like you in the world... Is it really this hard to find beauty?
Zafer and Bülent...
Just like all of us, they begin life with games, but they find themselves in a life that is different and often harsh.
And when the ship, destined for the unknown, arrives back at the port from which it departed, only Zafer and Bülent embark on that same, mysterious journey once more... Yet, the destination is always the same for everyone.
