Kaçak Karakol

A clandestine police station... Just as a house, building, or shop can have leaks, why couldn't a police station? This is the premise of a true story that took place in 1950 in Sirkeci, Istanbul. "Three Vigilant Friends" is a two-act musical comedy that brings this real-life event to the stage. The play features lively and interesting characters, and makes references to the present day. Also featured is the character of Nermin, the owner of a "rendezvous house" from that era, who made a name for herself with her activities at the time. The play was written and directed by the renowned playwright and director Bahadır Tokmak, who is also known for his award-winning plays such as "Get Out of My House!" and "I Need a Favor."

The play features a talented cast, including Sena Büyükboz and Bahadır Tokmak, who won awards last season for their performances in the "Between the Pillars" awards, as well as Fatih Alaylı, Nehir Arkalı, and Banu Alaylı. The play, which ends with a surprising finale, entertains and amuses its audience for approximately 2 hours, while also offering moments of emotional depth.
