Herkes Yolunda

Everyone is doing well.

The story follows a young woman who, unlike the people around her, has never experienced the feeling of wanting to "leave." It tells of her journey, a fantastical voyage that begins outside her room, then to the street, the forest, the sea, and finally, the vast steppe. Instead of reacting impulsively against the societal structures, interpersonal relationships, family dynamics, and urban life that encourage her to stay, the young woman uses her unique, sarcastic style to question them, and she struggles to cope with all these elements.
"Everyone's Path" is the first play written, directed, and performed by the artist, who has been involved in various projects in the fields of theater, dance, and performance, and also creates their own projects. The play establishes a fairytale-like world through a form of storytelling that centers on original sound design and movements designed to explore the physical limits of the performers. The performer's relationship with movement rhythm, time, space, and the audience creates a "playful" attitude that is characteristic of the character on stage. The character's relationship with issues related to the city, the streets, and relationships between men and women is presented in a direct, ironic, and questioning manner.

The artist was inspired by the stories "Passionate Bangs" by Sevgi Soysal and "Mediterranean Revisited" by Tezer Özlü.

"Everyone is gone."
I remain here, pricked by the thorns left by those who have gone.
Now, who will remove these thorns?
I'm going to the steppe. My mother is waiting for me. She will ease my worries.
I need to hurry.
I need to get going...
"I'm very late."

"Is it daytime or nighttime right now?"
What were we saying just now? That moment when night is about to turn into day...
Even as night turns into day, why does no one ever... Shhh!
I'm searching for a way to communicate without using words. Right now.
"Can you follow my thought process?"
