Herkes Kocama Benziyor
The critically acclaimed and award-winning play "Everyone Looks Like My Husband," which has garnered widespread praise in every city it's been performed, is coming to Antalya for its fourth season, featuring a stunning performance by Pınar Güntürkün.
"No, I'm a little better since that night, but I still feel like something hasn't fully settled inside me. I don't understand; it's as if my anger is just sitting there, like a heavy ball. It's cold, but it hasn't gone away completely. And sometimes, I still feel terrible. Something has been stuck with me since that night. My mind is constantly racing, always working. My head and my thoughts are always on. 'Just be quiet for a moment,' I tell myself. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm a woman, so my mind feels like it should be feminine. She's a woman with eyes that are wide open, like a demon's."
Ayten, who works as a restroom attendant in a cabaret, recounts her story piece by piece. She talks about how she ended up "here," her husband who abandoned her, her sadness, her passions, her fellow workers at the cabaret whom she loves, but most of all, her anger. That anger, which she couldn't quite define in the past but gradually came to understand, shatters one day, like the frosted glass of a restroom stall, and after that, nothing is ever the same.
