Hedda Gabler... A timeless woman... A woman who yearns to experience life with passion and pleasure, but is denied that fulfillment by the constraints of societal expectations. She is torn between pursuing her desires or waiting for a man to grant her access to them. Trapped first in the shadow of her "father," and then, after her only option – marriage – she is confined to the side of her "husband," condemned to a life of passive boredom. A woman who must cease to exist in order to truly be herself... This is for all the women who, in every era, are forced to sacrifice themselves in the same way.
