Havva

The play was inspired by the short story "Havva" by Vüs'at O. Bener, and by the character of "Tina" from the novel "Son Bakış" by Irmak Zileli.

In stark contrast to the original story, we see the game through Eve's perspective. She is someone who doesn's dwell on drama, who never stops laughing, and who, no matter what, perseveres with unwavering determination and hope, seeing beyond the traumas of her past and the violence she experiences in her current home, and believing in the possibility of a life beyond it.

Despite the burden of the word "provider" and the weight of the past, Eve never gives up searching for solutions. She does this through her childhood memories and the disconnect she experiences between her dreams and reality... And when Eve comes to that house as a "provider," everything changes.

"I am Eve... No, not *that* Eve. I know only one thing: Glory be to You. Should I read it? ... I won't leave without understanding, without asking! What use is school to me?! Girls and boys together? How dreadful! Are they being marked with sin? I have to go to the purification ritual! Fine, alright... Read it openly, Eve! Lift your head, don't look down! The story will change!"

Inspired by courageous women who shape their own destinies, with hope, faith, and strength. This story will change!
