"Remember Me" is a dystopian black comedy/drama that tells the story of Kumsal, who was kept in a coma for nine years after a car accident, and is then "brought back to life" with an advanced artificial intelligence system after her death. When Kumsal wakes up, she is surrounded by her closest friends, Ayhan and Buket, who seem to have never left her side, and her brother, Kerem. They all begin living together in the same house. At first, everything seems warm, funny, and nostalgic; old memories, silly arguments, and unfinished lives are rekindled.
However, as time passes, Kumsal begins to blur the lines between her past, present, and reality. This is because the system is filling in her missing memories with random information. As Kumsal's behavior becomes increasingly disturbing, Kerem chooses to ignore the truth in order to avoid losing her again. As the game progresses, the audience begins to question not only Kumsal's "reality," but also the "reality" of everyone in the house.
"Remember Me" is a story centered around grief, loneliness, the inability to say goodbye, and the selfish aspects of love. It explores the delicate balance between the desire to hold onto those we've lost and the necessity of letting them go.
Duration: 70 minutes (One act).
