Hatasız Dul Olmaz
The doorbell rings for Hatice; it's Fikriye, her neighbor and only friend. The two elderly women begin their ritual: listing the deceased acquaintances they knew and savoring the secret pride of being alive. The conversation turns to their late husbands. While Fikriye recounts the flaws of her deceased husband, Hatice describes her own husband almost as a "saint," claiming he never made a mistake and that they had a perfect marriage. Fikriye is irritated by this idealized portrayal and teases Hatice, saying, "They say nobody's perfect, but yours is practically a flawless widow!" Later, they hear a news report on the radio about a long-sought-after killer who has been posing as a delivery person in the city. The report mentions that this killer specifically targets the homes of elderly women, robbing them and then committing sexual assault. This news plunges Hatice and Fikriye into a state of half-fear and half-hope, and their subsequent behavior becomes tragically comical...
