Hello everyone,

As the Istanbul Nature Sports Club, this time we are featuring Hasan Mountain, one of Turkey's youngest volcanoes, which offers miles of stunning scenery along the roads of Central Anatolia and captivates viewers with its resemblance to Mount Fuji.

Mount Hasan, one of Aksaray's most impressive peaks, offers an unforgettable mountaineering experience with its stunning views.

We will try the Yılanlar Rotası route, which is shorter but steeper and can sometimes feel exposed. We will return via the Klasik Rota route.

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTE 🚨

⚠️ This route is not suitable for those who are new to mountain activities.

⚠️ There may be snow and ice, so all clothing and other equipment will be adjusted to suit the winter conditions.

‼️ The final list of participants will be determined by the Event Coordinator.

📌 TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• Peak Height: 3268 meters.

• Location: Aksaray / Helvadere Village.

• Estimated Camp-Summit Duration: Approximately 11 hours.

• Difficulty Level: Challenging Mountaineering Activity.

🗓️ PROGRAM SCHEDULE/AGENDA. 🗓️

⛺️ Day 1 | Travel | Arrival | Setting up camp.

• Friday, 11:00 PM | We will depart from Istanbul's Incirli district with our shuttle bus.

• 8:00 AM | We arrive in Aksaray, where we'll have breakfast together to recharge and address any outstanding issues.

• 12:00 PM: We arrive in the village of Aksaray Helvadere and then proceed to the campsite.

• 13:00 | We arrive at the Karbeyazı Hotel facilities and set up our camp.

• 17:00 We are holding a technical meeting to discuss and evaluate the project.

• 20:00 | Quiet time. We are entering a period of rest in preparation for the summit.

⛰️ Day 2 | Summit Ascent and Descent.

• 03:00 | We complete our preparations and begin the summit climb, using our headlamps.

• 10:00 AM | We follow the Yılanlar Route to reach the summit of Hasan Mountain (3268m). After taking a break and having a snack, we begin our descent.

• 15:00 | After approximately 11 hours of climbing, we return to the base camp. After a rest, we gather our belongings and board the transport vehicle.

• 5:00 PM | After we finish our meal, we will begin our journey back to Istanbul.

• 01:00 | Our estimated arrival time in Istanbul.

💬 INFORMATION / NOTICE / FOR YOUR INFORMATION

📲 A WhatsApp group will be created before the event, and all details will be shared through this group.

📋 Application Requirements for the Event.

• Becoming an official member of the Istanbul Nature Sports Club.

• Possessing a valid athlete's license that has been renewed.

• Having completed the "Summer Mountaineering" course with the Turkish Mountaineering Federation (TDF) or having equivalent qualifications approved by the club's coach/mountaineering committee.

• Possessing all the necessary personal and technical equipment suitable for winter mountain conditions.(Robot, helmet, shovel, crampons, clothing)

• Must know how to use a shovel and pickaxe. (A brief demonstration will be provided on the first day.)

• Not having any health problems, chronic illnesses, or lack of physical fitness that would prevent safe travel at high altitudes.

Included in the price:

- Transportation to Istanbul-Aksaray-Helvadere.

- Guiding services, hospitality fees, and taxes.

Items Not Included in the Price:

- All personal expenses.

- Personal insurance policies.

- Depending on the weather conditions, a tractor can be rented from the Helvadere village. If this is necessary, the cost will be shared.

• 👥 This is a group activity. Participants are expected to adhere to group rules and follow the instructions of the leader.
• 👕 Appropriate equipment and clothing suitable for the weather conditions should be chosen.
• 🌦️ The program may vary depending on the weather conditions, snow conditions, group status, and the athletes' physical condition. The final decision rests with the event organizer.
• ⚠️ During the entire duration of the activity (from departure from Istanbul to return to Istanbul), the Activity Leader is the sole person with authority.
• 📌 The final list of participants will be compiled by the Event Committee.
