🌿🎶 KARACAOĞLAN IN FOLK CULTURE 🎶🌿

"I came naked, and I shall depart naked..."

🎵 The Istanbul Nature Turkish Folk Music Ensemble is gathering!

We are gathering for a special evening where we will discuss Karacaoğlan, a great folk poet who captured the nature, love, and love for humanity in his verses. We will explore his poems and songs together.

We will discuss Karacaoğlan's perspective on nature, love, and life, and together we will explore the world behind his verses. 🍂

🎶 We will also feature some folk songs that are closely associated with Karacaoğlan during the evening:

🎵 A Gentle Snow Falls (Elif Song)
🎵 Green-headed Mallard Duck
🎵 My Beloved with the Beautiful Eyes.
🎵 If I leave this world, my darling with the hazel eyes...
🎵 The Beautiful One Who Calls Me "Dark-Skinned"
🎵 How beautiful you've become.
🎵 I listened carefully, paying attention to all sides.
🎵 Fate is in your hands.
🎵 My life will be spent far from home.
🎵 The Fair Maidens Migrated from Their Homeland.
🎵 I went out and explored Niğde and Bor.
🎵 Since I came into this world of lies...
🎵 Our windows face the wind.
🎵 The gentle morning breezes.
🎵 It's Time to Stop Crying.

🎤 Furthermore, we will work together, under the direction of our choir conductor, Ufuk Önderoğlu, to learn and perform a Karacaoğlan folk song that we will choose together.

Let's spend this lovely evening together.
