Garanti BBVA Genç Konserleri: Mareux

Mareux, one of the most notable names in the darkwave and post-punk scene in recent years, is making their first-ever appearance in Turkey as part of Garanti BBVA's Young Concerts program, in collaboration with Blind. Based in Los Angeles, Mareux is a musician and producer who blends coldwave, synth-pop, post-punk, and goth aesthetics with modern electronic elements. Mareux gained significant attention in the alternative music world with their 2021 viral hit, "The Perfect Girl." Mareux's music transports listeners to a nostalgic yet contemporary world with its dense synth layers, deep vocals, melancholic melodies, and dark rhythms that extend to the dance floor. Their debut album, "Lovers From the Past," released on Warner Records/Revolution Records, presents a cinematic narrative centered around heartbreak, obsession, and the ghosts of past loves. Mareux has a large international fanbase spanning Eastern Europe to South America, and is considered one of the most innovative and influential figures in alternative culture today.
