The name originated from the idea of comparing the intertwining of our life experiences and emotions to the delightful chaos of a "sampler platter." Just as the flavors of the hummus sauce might seep into the pastry, and the potato salad might touch the cake on a platter, in our lives, love intertwines with sadness, the past with the present, joy with suffering, and sorrow with laughter.

Since the name is "Gün Tabağı" (literally "Day Plate"), the concept inevitably revolves around the idea of "a day." Inspired by the unique sincerity, comfort, and spirit of sharing from days gone by, this gathering is not a performance for an audience, but a meeting of guests. Completely spontaneous and interactive, anyone can join the conversation and become part of the camaraderie.

We will come together for an evening filled with surprises, where we'll discuss everything from love and life, work and family, to the absurdities of everyday life, all accompanied by Elif Tunçludemir's vibrant and engaging conversation. We'll talk, laugh, and share our experiences.

Unlike in the old days, this time, men who have been out all day are directly invited to the table for dinner, instead of just the women. Yes, it's a day for everyone!

This meze is designed to be the perfect accompaniment to any conversation, and its bold flavor is so impressive that it will even win over the most critical mother-in-law at the table, ensuring that everyone will only be talking about how delicious it is as you leave.
