This philosophical work, set in the 20th century, explores the contradictions, failures, and sorrows of a world-renowned genius like Einstein, while also depicting the atrocities committed against humanity. Through a sometimes humorous, sometimes poetic approach, it prompts the audience to question existence, humanity, principles, and priorities. The story begins in 1934, when the world-famous scientist Albert Einstein and a middle-aged vagrant meet by chance in New Jersey. Despite their differing viewpoints, they quickly develop a connection. Einstein, a pacifist, becomes concerned that the Nazis are developing an atomic bomb, and he writes a famous letter to President Roosevelt detailing his work on the bomb. This letter leads to the Manhattan Project, which would later result in the bombing of Hiroshima. Haunted by a deep sense of guilt, Einstein is also under surveillance by FBI agents, who are trying to determine if he is a traitor to the United States. Over the course of 21 years, Einstein and the vagrant grow increasingly close. Their humorous, dark, and intimate conversations take the audience on a journey through the scientific and political history of the 20th century.
