Ebru Workshop.

The Ebru workshop offers a captivating artistic experience where everyone, regardless of prior experience, can learn and practice this traditional Turkish decorative art form, creating beautiful designs with their own hands.

The workshop begins with a brief introduction to the fundamental principles of Ebru art and the materials used. Participants then get to experience applying pigments to a specially prepared water surface, manipulating the colors using tools like brushes and rakes, and transferring the resulting pattern onto paper. This process is performed on a single sheet of paper and takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

The most unique aspect of Ebru art is that each piece is unique and irreplaceable due to the natural movement of the water and paint. To ensure the paper artwork arrives undamaged, it needs to dry for approximately one hour. Once it is completely dry, the artwork is carefully packaged in a special protective tube and delivered to the participant in a way that ensures it can be safely transported.

For guests who wish to expand their experience, additional paper marbling activities or the option to apply the marbled design to products such as fans, scarves, tote bags, wallets, or bookmarks can be offered for an extra fee.

This experience is an activity that is enjoyable for everyone and leaves a lasting memory.

Important Information.

• The standard experience is designed to be conducted in person, using physical materials, and typically lasts for approximately 10-15 minutes.
• To ensure the marbled paper artwork is delivered without damage, it requires approximately one hour of drying time. After this period, the artwork is delivered in a specially designed postal tube. While the experience itself is brief, the delivery time is subject to this drying period.
• The workshop is suitable for participants aged 5 and above; support from a parent or instructor may be required for younger age groups.
• In the art of Ebru, each piece is unique because the result depends on the natural movement of the water and pigments; it is not guaranteed that the exact same pattern can be replicated.
• Photography and video recording are permitted.

• Participants are welcome to bring food and drinks to the session. However, please inform us in advance if you plan to do so.

• The event has a grace period of up to 15 minutes; participation will not be possible after that time.

• Tickets purchased cannot be refunded unless there are changes to the program.
