Create colorful patterns on the water's surface and transfer your own Ebru artwork onto paper!

In our workshop near the Galata Tower, discover the traditional art of Ebru through a short and hands-on experience. Under the guidance of an instructor, you will choose your colors, apply the paints to a specially prepared water surface, and use Ebru tools to shape your design. Then, you will transfer the design you create on the water... on a piece of paper. You will prepare your individual project by transferring [information/data/materials].

You don't need any prior experience in art or marbling to participate.

What will you be doing during the experience?

You will learn about the Ebru technique and the tools used in it.
You will select your colors and apply them to the water surface.
You will create your design with the help of an instructor.
You will be transferring your design onto a single sheet of paper.

This experience includes a one-page Ebru art session for each participant.
The application process takes approximately 10-15 minutes. To ensure your item is ready for transport, it requires an additional drying time of about 1 hour. After this time, you can collect your item.
All the materials used in the workshop are provided by the workshop itself.
The artwork created during the workshop belongs to the participant.
