DJ Tennis

Manfredi Romano, the founder and A&R of Life and Death, grew up managing punk bands and organizing unconventional music events in Italy around the turn of the millennium. As a performer, Tennis demonstrates a remarkable ability to create intimacy, even in the largest of gatherings. As a respected producer, Romano consistently draws upon his past collaborations with post-rock pioneers such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise, and Fugazi, incorporating them into intricately synthesized electronic soundscapes. Known for his artist management skills, he has helped launch the careers of artists like Tale of Us, Mind Against, and Carlita. Tennis, a talented chef and restaurant owner, divides his time between Paris and Miami, where he enjoys riding motorcycles, collecting vintage action figures, and expanding his vinyl record collection, which now boasts over eleven thousand records.
