The historic shores of the Golden Horn are preparing to host more than just an international rowing competition. The DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup, taking place from September 11th to 13th at Tersane Istanbul, promises a comprehensive experience that combines the dynamism of rowing with music, gastronomy, culture, and city life.
Over three days, the Club, Coastal, and Corporate competitions, held in the Golden Horn, will bring together athletes, rowing clubs, and spectators from various countries in the heart of Istanbul. Throughout the day, the excitement of the races will continue, while the waterfront area of Tersane Istanbul will transform into a vibrant festival ground with concerts, DJ performances, food and beverage options, and various brand experiences.
The music and entertainment program will continue on Saturday, September 12th, following the competitions, with surprise stage performances and a DJ set.
Following the final races and awards ceremony on Sunday, September 13th, Pink Martini will meet with music lovers in Turkey for the first time with their "Pink Martini All Stars" project.
The Pink Martini All Stars, bringing together artists who have contributed to Pink Martini's musical world throughout its different periods, will be joined by special Turkish artists for the DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup. With a repertoire ranging from jazz to classical music, Latin rhythms to world music, this special performance will transform into an unforgettable closing night in the historic atmosphere of the Golden Horn.
