In a small, rural town, the optimistic dreams of the residents are a harbinger of a much worse reality. Rasim Ismet, also known as Rasim the Acrobat, suddenly dies one night. He leaves behind a large family who loved him, and a vast, fertile piece of land. Rasim the Acrobat had only one wish after his death: to be buried in the garden of his own home. However, his home is no longer his. As bulldozers approach to tear it down, his two young grandchildren hear the pain in Rasim the Acrobat's heart.

"The Clown's Funeral" humorously portrays a story of urban renewal. Even death is a worldly affair. All that remains of the clown are a few absorbent pads and his prayer rug. He no longer has a home, nor does he have any life left.
