Çalıkuşu

The novel "Çalıkuşu" (The Wild Rose), written by Reşat Nuri Güntekin, tells the story of Feride (also known as Çalıkuşu), a young, childlike woman who flees from Istanbul to Anatolia after discovering that her fiancé betrayed her on their wedding day.
