Bülent Beyin Hikayesi Oyunu
How would you describe your brain? Confused? Wrinkled? Miraculous? Inadequate? What do you think is happening inside as your brain controls you? When you's sad, happy, angry, in love, or depressed, what struggles is your brain undergoing? How does the brain communicate with the rest of your body? What if the human brain were also a person...? The book "Beyin" (Brain), by Bülent Bey, answers all these questions. As Bülent Bey goes through life, the Brain that controls him speaks, and the course of human destiny is rewritten.
"The Story of Bülent BRAIN," presented by the Tiyatro Bal Porsuğu theater company, delves into the human brain, bringing to the stage the ongoing struggle between the "Brain" and other organs, a mystery that remains largely unsolved. Written by Uğraş Güneş and directed by Murat Eken, the play features Bülent Emrah Parlak in the role of the Brain. This two-act comedy also features digital guest actors: Burcu Biricik, Barış Arduç, Sarp Apak, Şahin Irmak, Ersin Korkut, Onur Buldu, Uğur Bilgin, Necip Memili, Melis Birkan, Gülhan Tekin, Haki Biçici, Erdem Baş, and Murat Eken, who portray the other organs. The production utilizes a unique staging technique that seamlessly integrates theater with projection technology, creating a visually engaging experience for the audience.
The members of the "People's Jury," formed by audience members of Direklerarası Theatre, awarded the play "Bülen Bey's Story" in the "Original New Play" category during the 2018-2019 theatre season.
