New York-based dream pop / slowcore duo Bubble Tea and Cigarettes will take the stage at Blind on October 27 for their first concert in Turkey. Born from the combination of Kat’s fragile vocals and Andi’s cinematic productions, the group has become one of the most notable independent acts of recent years with music that melts melancholy, nostalgia, and inner intensity into a single whole. Moving through dreamlike atmospheres, their songs draw listeners into a world that is both personal and hypnotic. Since their debut in 2019, the duo has built a loyal and rapidly growing global audience. While their first album There’s Nothing But Pleasure created an emotional refuge, their second album We Should’ve Killed Each Other approached themes of loneliness, love, and modern alienation from a darker place.
