Bu Benim Çantam! Bu Benim
Nur is an academic who has lived her life for years within a strict routine she herself established. Everything must be clean, objects must be in their proper place, and the days should ideally follow a predictable pattern. She also maintains a similar distance in her relationships with people. The walls she builds with her rules keep everyone at a certain remove. Perhaps it's a difficult, exhausting, and even strange life from the outside, but this is the routine Nur is accustomed to.
Until, that is, she went to a healer in Burhaniye, hoping to overcome her obsessions, and he told her something strange: for her to get better, her bag had to be stolen. At first, Nur didn't believe him. Then, she decided to try it. She immersed herself in the hustle and bustle of Istanbul, searching for someone to steal her bag in the squares, on the ferries, and in the metro stations. The bag never disappeared, but other things that Nur had long considered immutable began to shift. She washed her hands less frequently, returned home later, ventured into unfamiliar streets, and ate foods she had avoided for years. The distance between her body, the city, and the people around her began to dissolve. But the obsession didn't disappear; it simply changed its focus.
Initially, the bag, which was a condition for Nur's recovery, is gradually becoming central to her life.
At a certain point, whether the bag goes or stays becomes less important. The real issue is what will be left of Nur if it does.
