The Dark Room Chamber Music Experience.

After achieving remarkable success on stages across Europe and the United States, the "Blind Symphony" project is now being presented to audiences in Izmir for the first time.

In this unconventional concert format, the visual element is completely eliminated. Before the concert begins, each audience member is given a special mask that completely blocks out light, and the concert hall is plunged into absolute darkness.

When visual perception is turned off, attention becomes completely focused on sound. The most subtle nuances, the smallest vibrations, and the internal rhythms of music become more clearly perceived. Even familiar pieces can take on a new, deeper, and more powerful dimension under these conditions.

The music is performed by a chamber ensemble and is enriched with rare instruments belonging to small communities from different regions of the world. Throughout the concert, you will hear over 70 different sounds and timbres – many of which you will likely experience for the first time.

The program features works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Max Richter, and Ludovico Einaudi.
