"White Nights" is a poem about loneliness. It tells the story of a young man who seeks solace from his isolation in the bustling city of St. Petersburg, and a young woman, unaware of her own loneliness, who is trapped in a dilapidated house on the outskirts of the city. Dostoevsky, with the youthful passion of his writing, captures the moment where their paths intersect, leading to a four-night love story on a bridge in St. Petersburg. Our play features the young man and the young woman, Nastenka, as they experience, for the first time, opening their hearts to someone else.
