Musical Performance for the Audience.

Yakın Tiyatro continues its theatrical journey, which it defines as a process of maturation, with the musical "Among the Groundlings." The play takes place in a tunnel where those at the very bottom of society seek refuge, and throughout the performance, we witness the lives of these marginalized individuals. However, the "bottom" is actually ourselves. We cling desperately to the walls of the well, fearing to fall further down. These walls represent the cheap pleasures we believe we need to survive. People spend their lives trying to understand these walls, only to find disappointment! But humans are more than just hunger! It is hoped that humans, instead of looking down from the depths they believe they are in, will turn their faces upwards, towards the "sun," and find a way out of the well.
