Aşk Hikayen Düşmüş Oyunu
Check your pockets! Because your love story might have fallen out somewhere.
The first play, "Your Love Story Has Fallen," from the "Theater of Dreams" series, written by award-winning author Ahmet Sami Özbudak and directed by award-winning director Emrah Eren, allows us to witness the performances of two lovers who have never met, playing roles from afar. Will tiny people, winged musicians, ghosts, and illuminated paths bring them together? This love story shows us a garden where the lovers, together since childhood, occasionally drive each other to madness.
This story, which we're telling as a love story between two people, is actually a fairy tale featuring many characters, written so that the older generation can sleep soundly. Our protagonists, "woman" and "man," are in love with each other, but they haven't met yet. In a way, they are each other's great love, and perhaps even soulmates. If the universe brings them together, a magnificent love story will be bestowed upon the world. But what if the opposite happens? What if their story is more difficult, if they are separated by vast distances, and even if their meeting becomes impossible? Will love still endure? Will it remain within them, even if there's a vast ocean or years separating them? Can two soulmates continue their story even while living separate lives?
The play "Aşk Hikayen Düşmüş," which will be the first production of the theater company "Tiyatro Hayali" founded by Ayça Koyunoğlu and Fatih Koyunoğlu, explores these questions. The director is Emrah Eren.
While watching this endlessly delightful story, perhaps you'll remember a love you forgot about, tucked away in your heart. Who knows? Now, sit down, watch the performance, and when you leave, check your pockets. Maybe the love story you've always dreamed of is somewhere nearby. If you have a soulmate somewhere in the world, and you're unknowingly experiencing the same things – if you look up at the sky and see the same things, if you get emotional in the same place when a certain song plays...
Do you believe in a love like that?
