"Amadeus," one of the most popular and talked-about productions in Turkish theater history, is embarking on its farewell tour after seven seasons of sold-out performances and unforgettable moments shared with hundreds of thousands of audience members. It will be the final time audiences can see this iconic play.
Peter Shaffer's masterpiece, Amadeus, brings to the stage the genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the world of Antonio Salieri, a world woven with admiration, jealousy, and passion, under the direction of Işıl Kasapoğlu. Starring Selçuk Yöntem, Tansu Biçer, Dilan Çiçek Deniz, and Özlem Öçalmaz, the production captivates the audience with its strong cast and compelling narrative, drawing them into an unforgettable story filled with music, passion, ambition, and betrayal.
With its massive cast of 70 performers, its spectacular stage design, costumes that evoke the period atmosphere, Mozart's timeless music, and powerful acting performances, "Amadeus" has consistently sold out every performance since its premiere, reaching over 500,000 audience members.
This production, which has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Afife Theatre Awards, the Direklerarası Audience Awards, and GQ Men of the Year, has also garnered recognition in the advertising and marketing fields, winning awards such as the Kristal Elma, Felis, and ADC Awards, thanks to its creative world that extends beyond the stage.
Now, this remarkable journey on the stage, which has been met with applause for years, is coming to an end.
Mozart's music will resonate one last time.
I will tell the story of Salieri one last time.
And Amadeus will bid farewell to its audience one last time.
For those who have been a part of this story for seven seasons, and for those who have yet to meet Amadeus, this is a final gathering, a final applause, a final curtain call...
Before this story ends, witness it one last time.
