Following the loss of his grandfather, Makoy struggles to find his way in life. He turns to the stories he's heard since childhood – tales of the mountains, magical creatures, and the golden deer, believed to grant wishes. One day, he sets out on a journey into the mountains, hoping to find the legendary deer. Along the way, he forms an unexpected friendship with Minggo, and together they confront the mysteries of the mountain, as well as their own losses and dreams. This film, inspired by an Ilonggo legend passed down through generations on Panay Island, is filmed in the Hiligaynon language and features a cast entirely composed of Ilonggo people.
