İnözü Vadisi

A narrow, deep valley 3 km north of Beypazarı town centre, cut by the İnözü stream through rocky slopes. At around 700 metres, its eastern and western sides are sheer cliffs; the western wall holds caves that look like storeys stacked on each other, rock-cut chambers and tomb monuments dated to the early Byzantine period. The rock tombs and chambers are protected as an archaeological site and the vineyards and orchards on the valley floor as a natural site. More than fifty bird species breed here, among them black stork, Egyptian vulture, rock dove and hoopoe. There are picnic spots among the orchards and poplar groves.
