Göksu Parkı

Laid out around the Susuz pond in Eryaman, this 50-hectare park is the weekend hub of western Ankara, with a lighthouse, floating piers, boat rides, an alpine slide, a funfair and huge picnic grounds. Children feeding ducks, families strolling the shore and groups barbecuing all share it. You walk here from the Eryaman stations on metro line M1; it is far from the centre, but the day fills up easily.
