About Venue
An Ottoman fortress built in 1508 under Bayezid II to command the harbour. The museum inside holds finds from the naval Battle of Çeşme of 1770 and from the Erythrai excavations. Climb to the bastions and Chios is right in front of you; forty-five minutes is enough.
