Vera veya Nihilistler Oyunu
"Since sunset, so much snow has fallen. It's strange how the most real aspects of life often feel like a dream. This cabinet meeting in the grand palace, that terrible law that will destroy the people, the arrest, the cries in the courtyard, the sound of a gun, the Tsar's blood-stained hands, and then the crown. But how love disrupts the balance. Compared to love, this glittering world seems so dull!"
In today's modern world, humanity has become distanced from the transcendent. We have succumbed to the coldness of the need for survival, to romanticized and false emotions, and to the illusory freedom of animalistic instincts, becoming passive. However, it is still possible for humans to engage in active, transformative action that goes beyond mere desires. This hope lies in the responsibility that Wilde, in his dying words, placed on the other, writing on the wall of his hotel room, "One of us must go," thereby giving the other the gift of "life."
