Sunday Society Shimza

Sortie is launching a new party series called Sunday Society, which will bring together international names of electronic music against Istanbul's most iconic backdrop. In the first edition of the series, Shimza, one of the strongest representatives of Afro House worldwide, will take the stage. Recognized as one of the most influential figures in the South African electronic music scene, Shimza is among the pioneering artists who have brought Afro House to the world with its unique rhythmic structure, deep grooves, and hypnotic transitions. The artist, who has reached millions of listeners through performances at Tomorrowland, Cercle, Hï Ibiza, Ultra Music Festival, and the world's most prestigious festivals and clubs, is also leading the global growth of Afro House culture with the Kunye platform he founded. On August 23, he will turn his route to Istanbul for the first gathering of Sunday Society. This special performance, which will start at the hour when the sunset blends into the night, will bring together the mesmerizing rhythms of Afro House, Sortie's unique atmosphere, and the Istanbul skyline on the same stage. Bringing together music, scenery, and the energy of summer evenings, Sunday Society is preparing to create one of the most special electronic music gatherings of the summer with its first edition.
