The play "Dead Poets Society."
This story follows a group of teenagers at a highly disciplined boarding school, exploring the pressure they face from the school and their families to succeed, the obstacles that stand in the way of them pursuing their own desires, and the ways they cope with these challenges. John Keating, a newly appointed teacher, introduces them to new perspectives, encouraging them to explore the world of poetry, to make the most of each day, and to engage with life in a way that allows them to "contribute their own verses," as Walt Whitman said.
"Dead Poets Society" is a classic work originally written as a novel by N.H. Kleinbaum and later adapted into a play by Gökçe Biçer.
Cast:
In this production, Hakan ALTINER and Tayfun YILMAZ share the role of the literature teacher, John Keating.
