"Kara Kız," a one-person musical play written and performed by Ecem Erkek, tells the story of a girl who grew up in a traditional family in the 1990s. 

The play will continue to be performed in various theaters, reaching audiences across different venues. 

The game's theme: 

Ecem Erkek's one-person musical play, "Kara Kız," tells the story of a girl who grew up in a traditional family in the 1990s. It's not the story of princesses adorned with pinks, traveling everywhere on their fathers' shoulders in voluminous skirts, but rather the story of a girl wearing a wool dress from the market, leggings underneath, and slippers on her feet, who dances the "Mezdeke" dance on her mother's special day. It's the story of the "black girl" who, despite not receiving unconditional love, finds strength in her own resilience and determination. I know, it sounds familiar...

Our protagonist, feeling utterly alone after being dumped by her boyfriend on Christmas Eve, stumbles upon a mixtape she made in her childhood. With this mixtape, she embarks on a joyful journey back to her childhood and youth, filled with laughter. She's transported back to washing carpets in the street, straightening her hair, and dancing the "halay" at her cousin's wedding.
On the way back, she will hear a familiar voice, one that she blames for her insecurities, and then... it's her mother!
This is a song she had never heard her mother sing before. But now, it's a song they can sing together. It couldn's be a better New Year's Eve. So, let's raise our glasses to you, Mom, and let's sing along together!
