JamZZ Sessions

The JAmZZ Masterclass, which provides opportunities for young jazz musicians to develop and gain stage experience, brings together musicians from various instruments in masterclasses. The program also offers its standout participants the opportunity to perform at the Akbank Jazz Festival. Following last year's program, which took place as part of the 35th Akbank Jazz Festival, seven musicians were selected, and this year they are reuniting on the same stage for the JAmZZ Sessions. The lineup consists of İdil Duru Koyuncu on saxophone, Kemal Mutluergil on trumpet, Efe Selvi and Emre Başer Alp on guitar, Muhammed Habib Haznedar on bass, and Emin Poyraz Urhan and Abdullah Örs on drums. This ensemble brings together diverse educational backgrounds, creative approaches, and stage experiences. The JAmZZ Sessions concert, featuring these seven young musicians who met during last year's Masterclass program, will take place on Sunday, October 4th, at the Akatlar Culture Center.
