On Saturday, October 31st, we will be traveling to Elmalı Village, which is part of the İznik district of Bursa. The Elmalı Village Mosque, known for its unique construction without nails, is worth seeing at the starting point of the trail. Starting our walk from the Elmalı Village Mosque, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Alıçlı Highland. We will experience the beauty of autumn in nature.
BURSA, İZNİK.
Bursa is perhaps one of the most historic districts. Its settlement dates back to the 5th century BC. Naturally, it has been home to many civilizations, from the Romans and Byzantines to the Seljuks and Ottomans.
APPLE VILLAGE.
Elmalı is a neighborhood in the İznik district of the Bursa province. It is located in the northeastern part of the district, in the Samanlı Mountains. Its wooden mosque, built in 1897-1898, is considered an important part of the region's cultural heritage.
It is known as a Georgian neighborhood established by migrants from the Caucasus region in the late 19th century. According to oral interviews with local residents, the village dates back to 1870. While it may not appear particularly grand from the outside, you'll notice the intricate craftsmanship inside.

Difficulty Level: Medium.
The course consists of a dirt road and grassy trails.
Elevation Change: We will start the hike at an elevation of 775 meters, ascend to 1216 meters, and then descend back to 775 meters. This represents a 441-meter ascent and a 441-meter descent.
Route Type: Loop.
This trail is not suitable for people who are new to hiking.
