Two giants of Turkish literature, Sait Faik Abasıyanık and Orhan Kemal, come together in a magical night that stretches from the gardens of Marmara Clinic to the streets of Burgazada! "A Glimpse of Dreams" is a whimsical, melancholic, and festive night journey where you witness the journey of two masterful writers as they explore the blurred lines between reality and fiction, theater and cinema, and the past and present.

"I feel the fear that fills the heart of the anglerfish. The fear of death..."

While Sait Faik is undergoing treatment at the Marmara Clinic, a knock comes at his door one night. It's Orhan Kemal. He holds in his hands the draft of a new film, a project he's approached with great hope after writing so many screenplays. The main characters are drawn from Orhan Kemal's own stories, while the supporting characters are inspired by Sait Faik's tales. All that's needed to bring this screenplay to life is Sait's signature.
However, Sait Faik has a different condition: they must escape from this hospital together!

"In the twilight, on the ferry to Burgazada, Sait Bey's liver is failing, but we are on our way to Aleksandra."

As two friends embark on a journey from the Istanbul night towards Burgazada, the line between reality and fiction begins to blur. Sait Faik's island encounters Orhan Kemal's people. On this journey, these two great writers sometimes share the same dreams, sometimes become angry with each other, and sometimes harshly criticize each other's worlds.

Because friendships are not perfect; they are real. They have their arguments as well as their laughter, their disappointments as well as their moments of solidarity.

"What kind of world? A world without injustice!"

The love between Semih and Işık, both trying to escape their past lives, becomes intertwined with this strange, magical night, and is tested by courage, fear, conscience, and freedom.

"Everything begins with loving someone. But here, everything ends with loving someone."

"Share of Dreams" brings together literature and cinema, reality and fiction, and the past and present on the same stage, telling a story that goes far beyond the lives of two great writers:

People who are trying to understand each other.

Those who never give up on love.

Those who pursue freedom.

And those who dream of a better world.

Because all of these stories share the same underlying question:

"Should people change, or should the world?"

The "Tiyatro Hayali" theater company, which began its tour with the play "The Unknown Pasha," will now explore the corridors of literary history with a fictional encounter between Sait Faik and Orhan Kemal. "Düş Payı" welcomes its audience with its mischievous humor, while simultaneously inviting them to the very heart of literature, cinema, and the dreams that humans build with hope.
