Çocuk Kitaplarına Yolculuk #15 - Kübra Çanak Gerçek

What do cities tell us? What worlds are hidden behind buildings, streets, and doors? In the 15th installment of our "Journey Through Children's Books" series, we'll be exploring a wonderful story: "Being a Child in the City." Joining us on this journey is Kübra Çanak Gerçek, a founding partner of Domi Workshop, who is also a qualified architect. She will help us look at the city we live in with fresh eyes, and together we will discover the worlds that architects imagine and build, the magical world of architecture, and the childlike language of the streets. This event is for participants aged 3 and up. You can reserve your spot by obtaining a free child ticket. Please only purchase tickets for the number of children attending. We welcome all young architects and their families who want to explore the city, its structures, and its lines with childlike curiosity! --- Who is Kübra Çanak Gerçek? Kübra is a qualified architect and a mother who has been interested in design and creating new things since her childhood. She studied for her undergraduate degree at Kocaeli University and her master's degree at Osmangazi University. Throughout her architectural journey, Kübra has aimed to go beyond simply drawing, and with her partner, she founded DOMI: Nature and Architecture Workshop with the dream of creating meaningful, lasting experiences that resonate with emotions. In their workshop, they use natural and recycled materials, question our perception of the built environment, and develop three-dimensional thinking skills.
