The Memoirs of a Madman - Muhammet Emre Aydın

On stage, there's a madman. His name is Poprishchin. Poprishchin is a civil servant working in a ministry. His only crime is not being a "person of high standing." Poprishchin, who is deeply infatuated with his supervisor's daughter, Sofia, learns that Sofia is to be married to a major. This pushes him to his breaking point. Furthermore, it reminds him of a certain truth: "Stars are meant to be admired, not reached." This idea forces him to question social hierarchies and confront reality. In the mental turmoil he experiences, Poprishchin retreats into his own utopia. He is now the King of Spain!
