Two audacious actors, driven by their passion for decoration and their love of performance, have embarked on a daring project: to adapt Shakespeare's masterpiece, Hamlet. With remarkable courage, they attempt to bring this to life before an audience, but the performance quickly spirals into chaos. One actor, seemingly unable to find the right environment for his acting, adopts the persona of a Shakespeare expert, while the other, driven by a passion for singing, constantly references musicals. While they dream of a perfect, well-crafted "Hamlet," the result is a disastrous production that becomes a comedic "Hamlet: A Father's Version." Sebastian Seidel's original text, which revels in humor, combined with Yücel Erten's masterful translation and Baba Sahne's paternalistic interpretation, creates a "Hamlet: A Father's Version" that pays homage to the theatrical traditions of this land, while also reflecting the intoxicating beauty and mind-numbing magic of the art of theater.
