Bi Aksırık Bi Bekleyiş
"The Waiting," written by Ethan Coen, explores themes of existence, bureaucracy, and endless waiting through the lens of epic theater, creating an absurd journey from Chekhov to Coen, courtesy of Nap'Jazz.
The play, set in a unsettling "liminal space" where perceptions of time and place blur, brings to the stage an individual's confrontation with the system, with beliefs, and with themselves, all through the use of dark humor.
The death of a civil servant, triggered by a single sneeze, leaves the audience with a lingering, uneasy smile, prompting them to reflect on their own "waiting" experiences.
