Payam Ghasemi Quintet, a Marseille-based jazz-fusion ensemble, brings modern jazz, groove, and the musical colors of the Middle East together in its original compositions. Led by Payam Ghasemi, the group’s music moves between modal nuances and powerful rhythmic energy, creating ample space for improvisation and interaction among the musicians.

In performances woven from fluid melodies, deep grooves, and spontaneous dialogues, each musician freely brings forth their own voice, resulting in a contemporary collective expression rooted in its origins.
